It’s great to see the new Chingford Mount Crematorium project for the London Borough of Waltham Forest progressing towards completion.
The project will provide the Borough’s first crematorium and is being delivered as the UK’s first fully electric, Council-owned facility.
The 80-seat chapel provides a bright, welcoming and uplifting space, thoughtfully positioned within the heart of Chingford Mount Cemetery.

Oxbury Chartered Surveyors as Employer’s Agent and Quantity Surveyor, working closely with the Client team to support the successful delivery of the scheme. Mechanical services by QED Engineering Limited, with specialist crematory design by DFW Europe | Cremation Equipment.
It will be fantastic to see the facility become operational and provide this much-needed service to the local community
